Parents Refund Policy

General Refund Policy

The following situations entitles parents to request a full refund for a booked Class or a Session: 

  • Parents receive a full refund if they withdraw from a class of any type within 24 hours of purchase.
  • Parents receive a full refund if they withdraw from a class of any type until 3 days before the start date of a Class or session ( Partial refund of 70% if withdrawal or cancelation is within 3 days and 1hour  before start date/time of a class or a session)  
  • A full refund is also provided if a parent stops their ongoing class within 24 hours of purchase ( booking) . 
  • Parents receive a full refund if the teacher cancels in advance of the class’s first appointment time.
  • In the event that a teacher misses a one-time class appointment, parents may request a full refund, or contact  the teacher to reschedule the class.
  • In the event that a teacher changes the date or time of a class/session appointment before the class’s start date, parents may request a full refund.

Prorated Refunds 

The following situations allow parents to receive a prorated refund based on the number of sessions remaining  in your class’. 

  • If part of a class is rescheduled, you will receive, upon request, a prorated refund based on the number of sessions that were rescheduled and that  (i) did not attend and (ii) did not consent to such rescheduling. However, if you did not attend the rescheduled session where you have consented to such rescheduling, you will not be eligible for a refund for such session.
  • If the teacher doesn’t teach or missed the number of  sessions listed and you paid for, you will receive a prorated refund upon request.
  • If the teacher cancels a class in which you have any uncompleted sessions, you are eligible to receive a prorated refund for the class for the sessions that were canceled.

Additional Policies

  • If your child/learner has not joined the Class or Session appointment 10 minutes after the class’s start time, the session may be canceled, at the teacher’s discretion. This is considered a missed session/appointment and you are not entitled to a refund.
  • If your child/learner misses a class Session, you are not entitled to a refund.
  • Refunds can only be issued to the original form of payment used for your purchase on SALYM, and they cannot be issued to a different card. In the case that the original card is closed or no longer active for any reason, you may need to contact your bank or credit card company. In select cases, you may not be able to retrieve your refund, but we will offer you a coupon to your SALYM account instead. Our team will provide you with specific guidance in these cases.
